Rock Soxx are into T Shirts too. They also do recycling. They make laptop sleeves out of old T shirts, which you can buy straight from their store. They also have a custom service, so you can get your old favourite T made into a slinky custom sleeve for your laptop.

That’s just as long as your mum hasn’t already binned it.

Kane Kramer may not be quite as famous as Jonathan Ive or Steve Jobs for that matter. Yet you will know his invention. He patented a device in 1979 which showed a credit-card-sized player with a rectangular screen and a central menu button to scroll through a selection of music tracks. Sound familiar? Even Apple thought so, and asked Mr Kramer to give evidence in a court case to help defend their iPod design.

Kane Kramer took out a worldwide patent but was unable to raise £60,000 to renew these patents and the technology became public property.

Google have released a brand-new, shiny web browser. Chrome. Currently only available in Beta for Windows users. It is, as you might expect, creating more than a shimmer across the net.

As I am a Mac user, I can’t comment on how it works, but that hasn’t stopped at least one Mac user from reflecting on it’s performance:

"Veteran Mac expert and writer Joe Kissell is among the first to report that Google’s brand new Chrome browser appears to be “way faster” than Safari, even running in a virtualization environment like VMWare Fusion." writes Lonnie Lazar from the Cult of Mac.

Apparently it is based on the same technology that Apple’s Safari is made of, so it’ll be interesting to see how these 2 speed kings compete with each other over the coming months.

Google describe it thus:
"Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier."

Golly Gosh, anyways if you have a Windows box, you can download it now from here: www.google.com/chrome
